• Our purpose – Here at FBC we believe that our purpose can be clearly    summarized from two passages of Scripture:

Matthew 22:37-39

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all of your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

These two verses are the lens through which we evaluate all that we do. No matter what others are doing or how successful something might appear if it does not lead us to love Christ, love our neighbor and make disciples then it has no place here at FBC.

  •  Our doctrine

FBC is a self-governing body of believers. We have adopted the “Baptist Faith and Message” for our statement of belief.

  •  Our denomination

FBC is excited to be part of both the Florida Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. Southern Baptists are the largest Protestant denomination in the U.S. and the largest Baptist group in the world.
